I understand reaching out for support for yourself or a child is not always easy, and I honour your courage and welcome your first step.

My Journey To Becoming a Therapist
I’m in my 30s with over a decade of professional experience and a lifetime of lived insights and understanding. My path to this work was deeply personal. My mother’s cancer diagnosis was a defining experience in my life. Witnessing her navigate uncertainty and fear left a lasting impact on me. It was during this time that I began to see how meaningful support, including therapy, could make a difference in how people cope and heal. That realization played an important role in my decision to become a therapist.
Although I achieved my Masters in Psychology in India in my 20’s, soon after graduating, I made the choice to move to Canada. I moved here and spent my first 10 years working as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE). Working closely with children and families gave me a deep appreciation for human growth and the ways our earliest experiences shape who we become. My passion for psychology eventually brought me back to mental health, leading me to re-train and obtain a Master’s in Counselling.
Who I am When I’m Not Working
Outside of the clinic, I live with my long-term partner and together we love to travel and explore the world. I have traveled to 14 different countries, from the volcanoes of Peru to the history-filled streets of Italy. These diverse cultures and stories have shaped my curiosity and my belief that no matter where you come from, your story deserves to be heard.
Supporting Relationships
Relationships are at the heart of our well-being, whether they are with partners, children, or ourselves. I work with both individuals and couples to navigate the complexities of connection. I am trained in Gottman Levels 1 and 2, which is an evidence-based therapy approach designed to help couples build stronger connections. I also have a deep interest in how childhood attachment issues can influence our adult romantic relationships. In our sessions, we can explore these patterns together so you can move toward more fulfilling and secure relationships.
Tools for Healing: EMDR, CBT, and Somatic Work
I believe that therapy should be as unique as the person sitting across from me. To support your growth, I use an integrative approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic approaches, and EMDR. I have significant experience helping clients navigate trauma, narcissistic abuse recovery, and the unique challenges of ADHD. My goal is to create a gentle, collaborative environment where we develop practical strategies for you to thrive in your day to day life.
Therapy Is For Anyone Who Wants To Know Themselves Better
I like to remind people that therapy isn’t only for moments of crisis. While it’s incredibly helpful when you’re struggling, it’s also a powerful way to understand yourself more deeply and discover practical ways to support a fulfilling, well-lived life. My hope is that everyone who comes to therapy feels seen, understood, and empowered to navigate life with greater clarity, resilience, and confidence. If you’re interested in counselling, please reach out. I’m accepting new clients and would love to hear from you!
