For Those Living with an Eating Disorder

If you’re reading this, you may be feeling overwhelmed, confused, or unsure. It’s important to know that you aren’t alone. Eating disorders can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, or background. Whether you’re dealing with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, or any other eating-related issues, we can walk with you as you find your way back to a more peaceful and balanced life.

What You Might Be Experiencing:

  • Physical Changes: Sudden weight loss or gain, frequent fluctuations in weight, or physical signs like dizziness, fatigue, or digestive problems.
  • Behavioral Signs: Secretive eating, avoiding meals, excessive focus on dieting or exercising, and food rituals.
  • Emotional Struggles: Feelings of shame, guilt, anxiety, or depression related to your eating habits and body image.

We Approach Eating Disorder Care With Empathy And Practicality

At Integra, our eating disorder therapist is dedicated towards providing a safe, welcoming space where you can explore your emotions and thoughts, so that you can begin to explore simple new skills and practical tools to support yourself. Your eating disorder may be somewhat about food, but it’s far more deeply connected to your feelings, history, and environment.

Many people who have eating disorders have experienced trauma and are suffering from other mental health struggles such as anxiety or depression.

Your therapist will work with you so that you get support for any underlying mental health challenges that may be exacerbating your eating disorder.

Our Services Include:

  • Individual Therapy: Personalized sessions with regulated mental health professionals who have specific training in eating disorder care to address your needs and challenges.
  • Family Support: If desired, we also have a family therapist who can provide family therapy sessions so that your loved ones know how to best support you during your recovery process to ensure you have a strong support system.
